In an effort to increase security of our Bulk SMS system, we have now implemented a "Balance Limit" system. This means that every account will have a limit of how much they can have in credit at any given time.
A new account will only have £10 GBP balance limit, if you confirm your email address, we add another £10 to this limit. If you confirm your phone number, then we extend this by a further £50. If you need more than this, then you'll need to send us a scanned copy of your driving license or passport.
Why are we doing this?, it is to ensure that a minority of bad credit lines doesn't ruin the service for others.
Other measures we have taken are that we automatically detect suspicious texting patterns, and will suspend accounts immediately on detection of these patterns. You may notice this if your credit drops suddenly to zero, and a message appears in red saying "account suspended" when you log in.
